While on our way to Afghanistan, our unit (or collection of Soldiers from several different units) experienced a 'slight' layover in St. John's Newfoundland... We've been here for three days as of this upload... So needless to say we started roaming the city, seeing the sites, etc. ... We were able to experience the 'George Street Festival'...rather awesome... and some Whale Watching from 'Iceberg Tours'... This video is made up of mostly photos, but has four short video clips of the Whales... The pictures are best viewed full screen... I know U2's 'A Beautiful Day' has been used up, so I apologize, but that was the first song that come to mind for this... it was a once in a life time kinda thing...(less)
