Thorburn Aviation pilot Gene Ploughman flies us in "the Beaver. It's July 9th, 2011, and we are basically halfway back to Gene's wonderful set-off point. Just spent 6 days in the Bay du Nord wilderness, catching our quota of trout, with the wonderful Island Pond Lodge at our disposal. It does not get any better!
