Newman Sound Men's Choir of St. John's, Newfoundland. Founded in 2005, we have grown into a chorus of 45 singers representing a broad range of careers. We were awarded the Galaxie Rising Star award for Most Promising New Choir in Canada in the 2006 national CBC Choral Competition and lived up to that promise in 2008 by placing second nationally in our category.
In 2011 we released our debut CD "The Green and Salty Days", a collection of gorgeous folk music from Newfoundland & Labrador, as well as from across North America, England, Ireland and Scotland.
