Heading to the north-northeast, Maria heads slightly closer to Bermuda with winds of near 70 mph at the center. Maria is gaining intensity and size as it gets closer to Newfoundland. The last time Newfoundland had a hurricane affect them was Igor last year with devastating results. Will Maria be as destructive as Igor as it pulls in that direction?(less)
