A friend of mine is a helicopter pilot with Newfoundland Helicopters and he asked me yesterday if I would like to go up with him for a quick flight while he checked the power of the engine. This is a Bell 206L helicopter. Flight was on April 4, 2011. He landed in the middle of the woods to demonstrate one of the reasons of why he likes helicopters; they can land anywhere. Sorry for the green glare from the sun. It was a clear, beautiful day.(less)
