This is a video of a Black Bear that I shot during the Newfoundland 2010 Fall Bear Season. I shot the bear at a distance of 118 yards with my Weatherby Vanguard chambered in 257 Weatherby Magnum. I used Weatherby factory ammo loaded with a 100 grain Barnes TSX bullet.
My 12 year old son, my wife, and my father-in-law were all with me to share this great hunt.
I must add that the rifle was given to me by my beautiful wife as a Christmas gift.(less)
