Description: Here is some rare 8mm color footage my father took in 1959 while stationed in Argentia Newfoundland. The Naval Base was part of the Atlantic Barrier and the DATA Line protecting North America from attack during the Cold War. They would fly 24 hours a day regardless of weather conditions. They were known as Willy Victor VW-13 aka Paul Revere flying the Lockheed Super Constellation. The song is Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins.

Description: The Engineer's song is sung by Ed Humber of The Sharecroppers with harmonies by Guy Romaine and Mike Madigan. The song reflects the wonderful days of the Newfoundland Railway in Newfoundland and is told from the Engineers' point of view. Some interesting film footage was provided to the Sharecroppers by Mr Geoff Sterling. There is even one scene where an old steam locomotive runs through the Humber Valley. Have a look!
